Jania's Photo Enhancements

I recently discovered a site called Jania's Photo Enhancements. Jania does absolutely wonderful work, and I have sent several pictures to her of my girl's wearing tutu dresses. She adds lovely backgrounds and touches such as fairy wings and sparkles to the photos. What a wonderful keepsake! She also has a few lovely backgrounds which would be perfect for Halloween costumes. You can visit her site at http://www.janiasphotoenhancements.com.

A Few Announcements

First of all, we want to wish everyone a fabulous 4th of July weekend! We have been busy as a bee preparing for Liberty Day 2009 in Cedar Bluff, AL this Saturday. This should be a fun day, and if your in the area, be sure to stop by our booth!

We are offering a limited amount of professional photographers a free tutu to be used as a prop in their studio! If interested contact me at nicole@threelittleprincesses.com. All we ask in return is that we receive a picture of a child wearing the tutu for our web site. We will credit your studio as the picture's photography, which is free publicity for you! Please submit your address and a few pictures of your work when inquiring. Unfortunately, we have had several individuals apply as wholesale vendors recently who do not actually own a store and therefore we are trying our best to verify credibility before sending away free products. : )
We are now giving away a free clippie set at the end of each month to one of our fans on Facebook. It's easy to join, and a great way to keep up with happenings at our store!
Our boutique was featured on The Pink Tree last week. Thanks Tammy for the great review!

We also have a few new products that are not yet added to our web site which are too cute! Double fluff tutus with double the tulle, crayon caddies, and a few new tutu dress designs are coming soon!

*New* Clippies for Winder

Today I made a few new clippie styles for an upcoming craft show in Winder, GA. These embellishments are so soft and sweet. I'm totally in love with the Scottie dogs.
I will most likely not be adding these to my web site and will only offer them at special events, but if you would like to purchase these let me know, and I will treat them as a custom order through the web site.
Prices are as follows:
Scottie Dog Clippie Set of 2: $4.00
Candy Clippie: $2.50
Mickey Mouse Clippie Set of 2: $3.50
I also made a skull clippie that totally "rocks." I believe it will be called "Punk Princess" and is a white skull with black heart eyes on a pink/white swiss dotted grosgrain ribbon. Clippies are so much fun!

Headband Holder Tutorial

Some time ago I decided that I needed a fashionable way to display TLP headbands. I really wasn't sure how to do it. So...I searched the internet and found this fabulous idea that I would like to share with you! You can see the finished product in the above picture. It is very inexpensive and the finished product is lovely. This idea was adapted from hgtv.com (credit given where credit is due!)
Supplies that you need:
*Full Paper Towel Roll
*Cute Bandana or Fabric
*Hot Glue
*Ribbon or Flower Embellishment
Here's what to do: Make sure that the paper towel roll is at the desired circumference for your headbands. (The first roll that I purchased was too small, so I had to buy a BIG roll, and tear off paper towels until it was the desired width. I then hot glued the last paper towel to the underlying paper towel to keep it from unraveling. I chose to use a cute pink and white polka-dotted bandana (So I didn't have to finish the edges.) I hot glued the end of the bandana to the paper towels and wrapped it around. Gather the ends, and either tie them with coordinating ribbons, or twist and stuff into the ends of the paper towel roll. I twisted the edges inside, and then glued a cute gerber daisy onto each end.
How easy (and cheap) was that?

Tutus, tutus, and more tutus!

I just created two more tutus for our collection that I hope to list on our website soon. One is Cinderella inspired in soft blue and white, and the other is rainbow colored.

These 2 tutus are shown in the 8 inch length.
I hope to list these on our web site by tomorrow! I have been making tutus like crazy for two upcoming craft shows this month. I need to make 3 more, and I will have reached my quota. At the last craft show I attended, I only brought 1 sample tutu with order forms. So many people inquired about it, and most of them wanted them for their infants/toddlers to wear in pageants. This is something that I had not thought of before, so I have made a wide variety of infant tutus for the shows. I have also made tons of clippies, which were a hot seller.
Tomorrow will be a clippie and hair bow day as I finish final preparations. We will be at the Spring Craft Fair in Winder, GA a week from Saturday!

Popular Baby Products Feature

Today Three Little Princesses was featured on Popular Baby Products. Here is what it had to say...

"May 5, 2009
Three Little Princesses offers trendy accessories for little girls that are affordable! In the beginning they started off with hair bows and hair bow holders, but have expanded to offer tutus, tutu dresses, flip flops and embellished purses as well.
Their new tutus are lovely and perfect for princesses! Three Little Princesses currently offers tutus in many sizes and colors, and they love custom orders. They come with a 1-inch wide elastic band, to ensure durability and quality and once the tutu is created, a matching removable ribbon is tied at the waist. One of the main benefits of their product is price! We know that princesses not only like tutus for dance class or portraits, but for play time as well, and they offer an affordable option for the tutu market.
In addition, they offer discounts to children through their Birthday Club and love to recognize little girls on their Princess Page."

Sign up for their newsletter to receive a 10% discount coupon code for our store! Also, we will be sponsoring a large giveaway on their site towards the end of June, so stay tuned!
